Best Western Geneseo Inn

The motel met my expectations for efficiency, cleanliness and convenient location. It is located right off of Interstate 80 in the town of Geneseo. There is a mini-Walmart, McDonalds, Culvers, Walgreens and other stores and restaurants near by. I recommend the Sunset Cafe in downtown Geneseo. We were there on a Sunday so some local restaurants were closed. We wanted to try Sweet Peas, but it is closed on Sunday & Monday. The downtown area is historical and beautiful and very quaint. Cute shops and Victorian homes line the streets. The motel is an economy model that has been updated. We had a refrigerator, microwave and two queen beds. The sink is separate from the toilet and shower. It isn't fancy, but it is perfect for an overnight or two. The breakfast included a waffle maker (my favorite), and three hot chafing dishes with scrambled eggs, a potato and meat. One day bacon the other it was sausage. There are individually wrapped pastries, bagels, yogurt and fresh fruit. Juice and coffee of course. Cereal, and oatmeal. It had everything you would expect. There is even an indoor swimming pool, but none of us tried it out.

Breakfast was the same as every other motel which isn't something that we enjoy. Location was close to the intersate that we were travelling on so that was good. It was very quiet which we liked and the heating /air conditioning was very quiet.

I reserved a room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed for three adult males. They really liked the room because I their words. “It was huge!” And for me, the price was outstanding.

The staff was extremely helpful. We had an issue with the refrigerator in our room and they came right away and took care of it. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Clean pool that I have not worried to let kids swim into so the room and hotel overall. Good breakfast, normal for Best Western I would say. We stayed just one night so not much else to say.
